If its October its rutting season in the world of the deer.

Watching red deer at this time of year for any length of time soon demonstrates what a deeply unfeminist bunch the reds are with the stags remaining very much unreconstructed.

Still they're impressive creatures all the same and they're worth a pic or two so I've put six here.
