About Me

My name is Andy and this is my little website.

There isn't really a great deal to me. I was born in 1969 and I live in Nottingham and work full time for a local authority*. I like going to the pub, walking, cycling and occasionally computer games and reading as well as the photography. I am also a vegan and I am interested in animal and human rights issues.

It was sometime in summer 2005 that I decided that I wanted to try my hand at photography. Not knowing anything at all about digital cameras I had a look around Amazon and got the Kodak camera purely on the basis that it had a long zoom. By a piece of luck I found a very good little first camera and I got the bug.

Now I've got a DSLR or two and you can read about my camera equipment on the next page.

*PS I'm not currently at work for various reasons, lets just say that half my photography career so far has been shadowed by fairly serious depression.
